Our Values Aligned

Many of Hadassah's members and supporters have chosen to advance the values that have been most important in their lives by providing a gift through their will. Regardless of the size of your gift, you can provide funding to help support causes important to you.

Hadassah is pleased to offer you free access to Giving Docs, an independent third-party platform. Giving Docs makes it simple to create your will and other estate planning documents. You are not required to leave a gift to Hadassah in order to create a will. This is our gift to you.

Frequently Asked Questions

Your last will and testament is a formal document that specifies how your assets will be distributed to family members, friends, or charitable organizations when you pass away. If you do not have a will, state law will determine how your assets will be distributed among your family members.

Giving Docs is a third-party tool that makes it easy to create a will to support the loved ones and causes you care about most.

A will is not legally binding until it has been signed and executed in accordance with the laws of your state of residence. Giving Docs will give you detailed instructions on how to do so in order to ensure that your will is valid.

The standard will you create on the Giving Docs website incorporates typical estate planning needs. If you have an estate with unusual or complex assets, a complicated family situation, or would like to discuss alternative planned giving vehicles, such as trusts, we recommend consulting an estate planning attorney and/or financial advisor. Even if you have an uncomplicated estate, you can use the Giving Docs process as a tool to outline your wishes in preparation for speaking with an attorney or other professional advisor.

This offer is free to you, compliments of Hadassah.
